This is a scene from the movie Phoebe in Wonderland that may appeal to a lot of people, and certainly the sensitive ones (which is a strength), especially the High sensitive Persons... who don't need to hide it but show it in our own unique way... very different from all the awful normals.
I can only say that if you feel to react in a negative way you will consider yourself as (just) normal/average... while not seeing or feeling how unique we all are.
At 0:50 Miss Dodger says:
I want to tell you something, which may not make any sense. But I should say it just so that one day you might remember it, and maybe it will make you feel better.
"At a certain part in your life. Probably when too much of it has gone by. You will open your eyes and see yourself for who you are. Especially for everything that made you so different from all the awful normals.
And you will say to yourself, "But I am this person."
And in that statement, that correction, there will be a kind of love."
I'm so scared...
We all are...
@1:59; Until now, I had not noticed the tear running down Ms. Dodgers cheek as she said "We all are." Just an incredible movie in so many ways. Felicity & Patricia (not to mention Elle) all delivered great performances in this film. Elle's awards will be coming soon..... Very soon.
