@billabong9494 Only the males sing. This is because they sing to court the females. And if there are no female cockatiels around, they'll sing specifically for you. ^^

Do females sing? Mine is female, and almost 6 years old, and i havent heard a peep. But I hear that some females can be taught to sing..?

@billabong9494 I heard that the females only peep. But maybe in your case is the age. Mine is 8yrs, he "does not like" to learn anything know, if I try to teach him, generally he starts to peep.

I'm using this video to teach my cockatiel to sing the music. It's been several weeks already and it is starting to sing synced with the video! When it sings 100% together, I'll record it and post a reply here.

brainwash literary. Every day I spent some time (~2min) whistling to him PART of the song, when I notice that he learned, I started teaching the other, but always reapeting the previous.
