This is the correct tempo for Reverie. In my opinion, I like it slower. But the tempo that Debussy has, it is meant to go faster than you would think.

too fast, out of tempo in some parts, beautiful nonetheless

If you were truly playing this piece from the Heart it would be memorized.

this is so beautiful!

This is my favorite intreperation of Reverie on youtube. I love the motion you give to this piece. You give it wonderful coloring and a bring a new dimension to it without robbing it of its inherient musical design. I love it. I haven't been able to play it anyother way since watching your vid, and I am very thatnkful for that. Wonderful job. Wonderful.

I don't see why people are complaining so much about how he plays it! If you took a random person who didn't know anything about this song or piano, they would say this is beautiful and i agree. If you think you could do a better job, post a video of you playing this yourself.

Do you learn piano by yourself?
Maybe I can suggest you to stop playing with your fingers and start playing with your heart and mind.
This is what makes us different than robots.

Does anyone know if dere is a website or smth that i can find information for this piece? Its for the viva voce for my piano exam. Thx :)

i can hear rubato(unnecessary ones) + rush, relax, no ones goin to say ur bad or watever, jus play the song nicely. Careful of ur pedalling as well, tis piece is not a sudden staccato.

Not bad.. but please.. in my humble opinion this song requires such a careful, elegant touch and, at most parts, a much slower tempo.
