1986 KTXL movie promo and bumper

Promo for TV40's showing of "Damnation Alley" later that day (note the anamorphic squeeze at the end, foreshadowing the later misuse of widescreen TVs), then a bumper for the Sunday afternoon Award Movie's showing of "Class". Announcer Jerry Chambers frequently said "We'll return to our stars..." on these.

Even in the afternoon, they'd run uncensored movies- this one included a 'wardrobe malfunction' that rivals the one almost two decades later, yet somehow the world did not come to an end.
