  • I agree that you should see the Brooklyn Giglio but I myself having had my Grandparents imigrate to East Harlem from Naples before moving to The Bronx, where I was raised, am definately for the Harlem Giglio. Its all about Family and Friends who always come back!

  • cant believe i missed it...i had wanted to check out the brooklyn one this year...i'll be at ours in harlem august 9th though!

  • What a cool festival!

  • ma il giglio bisogna farlo ballare... bisogna fare il mezzo passo!!!

  • it dont matter if the feast is at the south pole..you go to have fun............and to honor your patron saint

  • The Brooklyn one is the best one i was raised there like the rest of my fathers side cant wait for 2010 !!!

  • yup...i mean i like the harlem one, but for me you cant have a feast for italians in a neighborhood they dont live in anymore...either way i keep going!

  • It would be GREAT if it came back to The Bronx!! I would think there would be sooooo many people in attendance due to the still remaining Italians living in that area, My mom being one of them in Pelham Bay, and the returning Bronx Italians that frequent the Arthur Ave area and come from all over the Tri state area!

  • i grew up with the Giglio feast in the bronx, which used to be pretty big but for some reason they moved it back to Harlem even though no one lives there anymore....i liked it better when it was in the pelham bay area which was central between morris park, pelham bay, pelham parkway and throggs neck...should never have moved it out of the bronx!

  • make sure u come to the real one next yr....brooklyn is the real one, its the heart of the giglio, the originator in america. if you wana see it done right.come to brooklyn
