Our society simply is not possible without government investing in infrastructure and welfare, funded by taxes. No Business wants to invest in an area without the stability provided by heavy government investment in infrastructure, welfare, and law and order. If you want to live in a place without any government "distorting the market" move to Somalia.

Yes, stop paying taxes...no more money...no more programs...no more war funding...though we will become an all-out, balls to the wall military police state, but only for a generation or so, then we'll smolder out into a (or several) run of the mill third world nation(s).

For China or India to exploit I imagine...

My point? Do I need one? How about a total disassembling of society and a return to hunter-gatherer? (I'm not being cynical or satirical...I really think it'd be a good idea)

@ThePunkPatriot So please explain where you find trouble trouble in Arron Russo's logic. He basically got the IRS guy to admit that he doesn't care about the legality of the labor tax. And again your approach to the matter is simplistic and childishly idealistic. In the end it's always about class warfare for you lefties. I could just as easily reply that any point you make could be summarized as "I am poor and envious, so let's use state force to separate people from their earnings."

@pablocoon The supreme court didn't shoot down the 16th amendment. It's an amendment to the constitution. And yeah, I've seen "freedom to fascism." It should have been called, "I'm rich and don't want to pay taxes"

For being a supposed constitutionalist, you glaringly overlook the 16th amendment, which gives the Federal Gov't the expressed right to lay a direct tax on income, without apportioning it to the states, and without basing it on census results. 16th amendment. Read it.
