1A Auto shows you how to repair, install, fix, change or replace a bad, broke, cut or damaged ABS harness on a 1995 Honda Accord. This procedure is similar on all 1994-1997 Honda Accord, 1995-1998 Honda Odyssey, and 1997-1999 Acura CL. A cut or damage ABS Sensor can cause your ABS light to come on and your Anti Lock Brake System to work incorrectly.

  • does anybody knows why srs light is always on? thanks!!!!

  • @Marnovmed You may want to have the code scanned on it. That should tell you what's triggering the light.

  • Hey mike, quick questions. my 1998 Ford F150 4.2L 5 speeds abs sensor light is on, and the brake pedal legit kicks back at me when I'm applying it. I know it needs brakes but maybe an abs sensor problem as well, my questions are, do you know if that model only has Rear Wheel Abs? and Every time I look for a Wheel speed sensor, nothing comes up lol is this like a trick or does it just not apply to drum brakes? Shed some light for a Fellow Masshole please and Thank you!

  • If you call the dealer with the vin number they can tell you if it's 2 or 4 wheel ABS. You should also have the code scanned, this should tell you what's triggering the light.

  • @1aauto hello,my 94 caprice is braking bad when i hit the brakes the pedal pulsates or jumps fast and sounds like something is broke but i cheked all brakes and installed new booster n master but to no fix.can i have n issue with abs system?because the light does come on n off.its hard to stop i cant drive it on traffic.im just guessing its in the abs system i have checked all else and bled system.can it be the abs what do u think?thnx

  • @cagonesss If you haven't changed the rotors they could be warped. I would start with that, and also check all of the suspension pieces to see if anything is worn and needs to be replaced. You could also hook a scanner up to it to see if it's throwing any codes, that could be causing this issue.

  • @1aauto thnx for responding,i disconnected the abs system and the car is braking good again i know i dont have the safety of abs but seems to brake very well even better than abs .im still gonna scan it like u told me n find out the real problem n fix it if its not to expensive.thanks again for your help.

  • @Marnovmed Theres number of stuff that could cause that light to pop on. Like : Letting battery drain too low Bad Sensor Blown fuse Unplugging the car’s battery Removing the gauge cluster/installing aftermarket gauges G-Force sensors that are under each of the front fenders ($250.00 each) Bad clockspring (located inside your steering wheel) Bad ECU Bad reverse light switch on transmission Car was in an accident Airbag defective/unplugged

  • My ABS light is sometimes on and sometimes not, its really annoying to me cuz i like to have the dash free of errors and lights, do you think its just the sensor? (we bought car brand new, never been in crash, theres no way the entire ABS system could be bad) do you think its just the sensor? Please respond!!!! THanks soooo much!

  • P.S. your window regulator videos for the Ford F150 did miracles for me, helping me with getting the rivets out and actually fixing my windows! thanks for all the videos you make.
