Great archive, This tune I heard on The New York All Stars album recorded live in Japan back in the 70's. I do agree it is one of Gadd's best solo to date. In this video Gadd is just on fire, never seen him playing so hard and aggresive. I saw this same band in New York City in December 09 at the Iridium. And it was sad to see and listen. Nostalgia is hard to experience some times. Mainieri looked old and sounded tired. Gadd did the whole set with brushes. Hard to imagine the same band.
