@andsparksfly I always thought his power was about the fact that he LITERALLY acts as though he's invincible - like nothing can touch him. No emotional attack ever gets to him, which is why he tends to be totally insensitive to other people's feelings and generally does whatever the eff he wants to do.... Christ, I miss Nathan.

I don't necessarily think just cos he was annoying he turned immortal. That doesn't really make sense since his annoying behaviour effects other people, not himself. I'm sure he doesn't even realize how annoying he is half the time. I'll go with what Robert said and that it relates to their insecurities. Maybe something with his losses? His mum to Jeremy and his dad who left? Maybe his strongest insecurity is not being loved & living forever ruins the whole love thing...? Idk, I fail. xD
