none, the cradle has only been used 5 times.
when the unit is on the bike you can push it upwards & forwards and it comes out easily..
will video and post it.

tried both ways and still my gps 60 jumps out while on the trail.

Is there much wear on the straight edge part of the tongue?

This problem has now been fixed by the manufacturer, thus no modification is required with the new version. The new version has a straight edge rather than a curved edge inside the ring.
