Kosher Radio wasn't very friendly to one of the best Funk/Rhythm bands in the world and perfect example not sounding commercial ....is a good thang !

Energized performance from a hot band! Hey, were the Rock Concert producers purposely keeping the lead guitarist out of any close-up shots?He was riffing up a storm but they never pan on him, wonder why? Was he a white guy whose presence onstage w/ black guys might have offended a certain TV demographic in 1974? Or just a guy who stood in a bad spot?

Yea Peter your reading way too much into this. First of all Dougie is not white and yea on TV the artist doesn't even know whats being fimed till you watch it on tv.

Played with these guys in Atlanta, GA. in the seventies. We opened for them and they were awesome!!! My band was "The Chapparrals" and I still have the original poster "Mandrill" with special guests "The Chapparrals" here in my collection. Wish there was some way to post it!
