I live in Ottawa and across the border in Gatineau-Hull is the team (Olympiques) where he played Quebec Major Junior hockey. His picture is all over the arena and before every game they announce that he used to play for them. I went to a MTL-LA practice in MTL during their first rematch after LA lost the Stanley Cup. I stood there with my camera to take photos of Luc and Gretzky & Luc was nice enough to stop skating and smile for a picture. Very classy player and a deserving send off.

heyy thats how we role in san jose with class :] ohh and for the cheechoo comments haha hes back! and better than ever watch some of the goals hes scored this year but yeah Luc was a great player and will always be remembered when i think hockey i dont think gretzky i think LUC!:)

I'm a Ducks fan, so you can imagine how I feel about the Sharks and Kings. The entire Sharks organization should be proud of their players and fans for sending Luc off the way he deserved to be sent off...WITH CLASS!

The way SJ sent off Luc really gave me a lot of respect for SJ. And this coming from a life long Kings fan that used to hate SJ...Don't get me wrong I still don't like you... I just don't hate you.
