He was against the war because Iraq, while certainly an unstable country, was not the source for the 9/11 attack. He said we should finish the job in Afghanistan and not lose millions of dollars and thousands of troops' lives in Iraq. As far as any bribe, that sounds like a conspiracy theory to me.
