  • Can i run the 4 decks using audio 8 with a 2 channel mixer and 2 turntables??

  • @DjLaTina203 :Hello djlatina, yes, you can use a 2 channel mixer, that will enable you to play through traktor and through regular vinyl, you will need the Y cable connector to be able to use this config, just make sure that the mixer has 2 line inputs for channel 3 and 4, since those are pure digital signals and cannot be connected to a Phono input on your 2 channel mixer. channel 1 and 2 is fine to connect to your phono inputs.

  • I buy traktor scrtach pro ... So I'm with a doubt, as I turn the 4 decks (CDs / vinyl timecode) ??

  • @DJTRIBTECH Each deck you have to configure on the audio input section, you will need to let traktor know, what inputs are coming in in channel 1,2,3,4. cd timecodes or vinyl, if you are using midi controller, then you dont need to input anything, you just assign your controller to a deck and output it to any line in mixer. the only restriction, you cannot use 4 vinyls, because the soundcard only has phono/line on channels 1 & 2, the other channels 3,4 are line inputs only. hope this helps

  • does 4 decks for traktor scratch pro HAVE to be 4 timecodes? can i use 2 timecodes and a dj controller for my 3rd and 4th deck?

  • @erwinio007 hello, you can use time codes and midi controllers at the same time, anyway you want to manipulate the decks on the fly, its fully supported.

  • @TheTomMan95 Unfortunately no, because the audio 4 has only 2 stereo outputs that you will use to route the turntables. the only way is either using a second cheaper soundcard to reroute decks 3, 4. but you may run into latency issues. i recommend if your planning to run 4 decks, do the effort of buying the audio dj 8 sound card, and trust me, it will simply your life and also give you the best sound. 4 decks = 4 stereo line outputs= 4 channels on your mixer, which only audio 8 offers in market.

  • now is up to configure the signal input and output routing in you sound card.

  • @neilfdssecond, you now have to match the colors of the other side of the multicore cables to the A & B input of the audio 8 dj, Third: make sure you ground the turntables. FOURTH: get 2 pairs of rca cables, and connect them to you dn6000, then connect the other side to the inputs C&D of your audio 8, wich are located infront of the unit, you then connect the output of C&D wich are on the back, to line input 3&4 to your mixer. make sure is the line in, not phono or it will be distorted.
