Assemblymember Caballero Praises Passage of Historic Water Package

(Sacramento) - Assemblymember Anna Caballero (D-Salinas) says the comprehensive water package passed by the legislature includes a water bond that will fund projects for drought relief, monies for local regional water projects, groundwater cleanup, recycling, conservation, watershed protection, Delta sustainability and funds for above and below ground storage. Assemblymember Caballero says creating the plan to fix Californias water infrastructure and system to fund it is a wonderful first step but says now voters must be convinced as well.
