I saw them perform Pain it Black at Reading in 1989 in the "b" tent. It was an absolutely amazing performance and the only song that I remember from that weekend. Can someone let me know of any upcoming concerts (I am in Canada but willing to travel).

I also used to go and see them every Sunday morning in the Elephant & Castle....I was living with a load of my Irish mates in a squat on East Street(c 1986) and this band were really great and lots of fun... well done whoever posted this

Like many others posting here this takes me right back to the Elephant & Castle circa 1989. Everybody seemed to live in squats back in those days, and every Sunday morning it was worth getting out of bed just to go the Sons perform their magic. A great way to start the day. God knows where you'd end up. I remember getting one time getting into a taxi with Stephen and his double bass. Don't know how we managed it. i guess he did it all the time. London taxi's are pretty spacious ...
