  • all this talk is peppy. he could have just said ' i was inspired by paranormal activitiy,127 hrs etc., etc etc.,

matter vundali cinema lo. technology matrame kadu.

  • All directos I respect Such as Christopher Nolan,Tarantino,Spielberg,de palma and a whole lot of horror film directors who are the best film fans ever vote for film. Yes, Dig Cams made the whole film making process, democratic,as major holywood guys say. Now i can, with a story, shoot a feature in Sony HD and get a good print to show to some producers to get chance- to shoot in film...hmm In that Way, I love Digital cameras. But yeah, if you want shoot Sitcoms, digital cameras are better.

  • The reason for this is explained in one interview with its cinematographer and Alexander Aja was this -- " film is the only medium that allows you a story with its all fantasy. We were shooting in a lake in Arizona, Digital cams may have burnt out in the high rising temperature. So film was 100/100 medium for us to shoot the 'fish'.And I never thought that Danny Boyle is great director.

  • @ Sreeram

Sri, I knew about that. Boyle is one of the supporters of digital film making. But you should Understand SDM is very inferior than a B movie like 'The Mechanic' in terms of cinematography because the difference in medium defines it all.Piranha 3D is not shot with AVATAR"S HD 3D camera. But they shot it in film and with three arriflex and then in post production stage, they have rottered into 3D.

  • ADVICE TO RGV...

You can only involve an audience with people. you can't involve them with gimmicks, with hand-held cameras, zoom shots or anything else. they couldn't care less about those things. but you give them something to worry about, some person they can worry about and care about and you 've got them, you've got them involved.

  • Anybody,RGV fans can put a word to word translation of what he says, in English .-Vaishak nambiar

  • @SreeRam

There is no film used in this camera. Canon 500D is a digital cam.It is famous apparently for low budget or small budget shoots. Anyway, No Hollywood film maker will prefer these cameras to make their movies. First of all, the quality is bad and looks like a student short film in the first stage. Film is Film and Digital Camera is Digital Camera - Make no bones about it- You better use digital camera to make short films to get into movies and make movies in film to have the experience

  • Just a few words, I can say about this director -

A Genius with some odd thinking occasionally messing up a few (don't know what drives him to go for those kind, wish he thinks like Kshana Kshanam, Govinda Govinda (could be a commercial flop, but for sure most of it is a treat to watch), Shiva... etc...).

Watch all the 4 parts, you can learn a lot and know how knowledgeable he is...

  • @sreeram777 Add to that i didn't question his technical perception like u mentioned. BTW I forgot to say ....FY2

  • @sreeram777 Baabu moshai..watch the film yourself to know when it releases. Your argument is correct if only when you see the whole film in theater. What i meant was to know the quality of any camera it should be in a controlled environment not like a camcorder where we shoot home videos. RGV is correct to use this format for this kind of 5 days film BUT to know the REAL QUAILTY of 5D this film not a GOOD example.
