Since its foundation in Prague in 1961, Black Light Theatre of Jiri Srnec has been among the best known representatives of the Czech dramatic art in the world.
Founder of the theatre, Mr. Jiri Srnec did not only invent the name "Black Light Theatre" but he was also the first who combined black velvet, special luminescent colors and UV lights on the stage.
It was under his leadership, the company gained its world fame. And therefore we can truly call the black light theatre, Jiri Srnec's theatre.

@BlackLightTheatre What make and model camera was used to capture these performances? Developing my own black light performance and would love to be able to capture the details in low lighting conditions.

My class will visit the Black Light Theatre in Prag this year. I'm not interested in theatres but I'm sure this will be amazing :)

We saw them in Prague on Christmas 2010. It was a very small theater with only a few. It felt like a private show. They were fantastic! My favorite scene was the one with the horse, it felt so real. I couldn't stop clapping my hands at the end. Its one of the must see things in Prague.
