Alex only you could do this majestic music, God bless you then, today and forever

I love the string/woodwind melody at 1:21. Sounds like the same kind of music that was popular back in primitive/ancient times, the kind that would work well in a period film - any period film, in fact, up to the Eighteenth Century at the very least. Alec R. Costandinos scored the music for the animated SANRIO film "Winds of Change/Metamorphoses/Hoshi no Orpheus" (1978) narrated by Sir Peter Ustinov about the Greek myths based on Ovid's "Metamorphoses". *^_^*

I have the record and I've been trying to convert but it's not this clean. Would you consider joining 4shared dot com and posting it so I can download it? It's not as if I was stealing it. I do own the album.
Beauty and the Beast is my favorite fairy tale and I watch it in all formats, and I'm 50. LOL.

Just beautiful song. I believe the 70's was the best decade ever when it comes to music, style, tv shows etc but the music was hands down the best off that decade.!!

This is so difficult to find on CD!! Thanks for posting this. The norm is usually Romeo and Juliet. This was an awesome song on side B of this album.

I love music that tells a story. So beautiful. Even the album cover looks luxurious. The 70's must have been a magical decade. I was just a baby, lol. ^_^

My deceased brother's favorite. I heard this thousands of times as a kid. LOve it!!!!

By the way, pampita78,is there anyway you can get the rest of it on, maybe in an additional post? It ends right before one of the climactic moments in the piece, "Beauty, Beauty...." "Beast - I love you; I want to spend the rest of my life with you...Beast?" I remember it well...
