  • Oh oh the M3 motorway is crossing across Hill of Tara.

Many people protests the motorway from crossing the Tara and Skryne areas.

    Sincerely, Stephen Becker.

  • The Druids ancient inauguration ceremonies at the Hill of Tara's Royal Grove was preserved in the Great Book of Lecan ( Leabhar (Mór) Leacain). This medieval Celtic manuscript was written between 1397 and 1418 at Enniscrone in Tireagh, it was commissioned by Tadhg Riabhach O Dubhda. It has been preserved at the Royal Irish Academy. The Great Book of Lecan should not be confused with the Yellow Book of Lecan, which is an earlier and more complete manuscript.

  • The Hill of Tara was also known as Temair. Sitting on top of the King's Seat (Forradh) of Temair is the most famous of Tara's monuments - Ireland's ancient coronation stone - the Lia Fail or "Stone of Destiny", which was brought here according to mythology by the godlike people, the Tuatha Dé Danann, as one of their sacred objects. It was said to roar when touched by the rightful king of Tara.

  • @LittleWinterStorm Lol your welcome

  • @cathbhar1 thank you for info ;>

  • @LittleWinterStorm The Irish are not Celts, lots of research tells us now that us Irish or not Celts. Our DNA is not Celt and there is no evidence supporting a mass invasion of Celtic warriors to Ireland. The Celta maybe ca,e in drips and drabs and got soaked up into Irish culture. Its wrong to give praise to the Celts for ancient Irish culture..
