I figured out the reason yours failed. You have to NOT rip it out. Just leave it in next time and don't rip it out and it should work fine.

$100.00 says this guy payed $99.95 to have his bedliner sprayed in at Billy Joe Jim Bobs We are as good as Line X company. I wonder if they gave him a free Sham Wow because he was the 20th customer that day?

Just had my truck done, and my dad has had his for over five years with nothing wrong at all. It's either not linex, or they did no prep whatsoever. Also linex has a nationwide (actually global now) lifetime warranty on all their products. If you didn't get a certificate then the shop you brought it to is yanking your chain. Also if you don't like the shop you can go somewhere else as long as you have the warranty card and get it redone their.

Line x also can't rip rhino can
-
That's rhino because line x does not bend like that and also line x dealers do not spray thin they have a set amount that they have to put on there by the way you got scalded into getting rhino.

Well....it certainly looks like it stuck to the paint! (The entire bottom bedliner surface is white from adhesion to the paint)....which appears to have adhesion problems. After all, any coating will only adhere to the coating beneath it, sandblasted or not (also known as surface prep). Also, it looks like either a different product, or a verrrry thin coating of Line-X. I hope the dealership resolved your problem. Line-X is a very strong and durable product, if applied properly.

@zizwop I had a 99 silverado I just sold with the factory bed liner. I removed the bed liner and gave it to my neighbor. The bed was straight and some paint was wore off in a couple places, but no corrosion or rust. Which really surprised me considering the bed sides and cab corners were eat up pretty bad. In my opinion, I'll go back with the drop in liner and I'll thro down a few rubber strips under it to help save the paint on the new truck. Personally a spray on works good on a work truck th

@Klperformance68 Plastic doesn't necessarily protect against dents-you just wouldn't see it under the plastic. A thick sprayed polyurea coating, at least an 1/8 inch thick, protects really well, it's whats going on under plastic that you don't see is the problem. Pull out a plastic liner after 10 years and your bed might be straight, but corroded pretty bad.

The dealer did a crap job, they don't need to sandblast it, like the other guy here said. Line-X should actually stick to paint, but they have to scuff down the clearcoat, and it should not peal off like that-if done properly. I hope they re-did it for you, or refunded you or something.

They dont sandblast it because their wouldnt be any paint for the lineX to stick to, they SAND it just to scuff it up enough so the lineX will stick
it was supposed to be sandblasted......Linex of Lincoln did NOT stand behind their product!!!!!
