Sung by Dougie MacLean. This is a poem written by Robert Burns in 1788. I appreciate this line "We'll tak' a cup o' kindness yet.. for days of auld lang syne." Kindness brings magic into one's heart, into one's life. Reminded me of Stephan Grellet who said, "I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good thing therefore that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now; let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again." This is how precious time is so as each creation and most specially God, the Source of all. Once we've nurtured this awareness that God is within each one of us, and strive resembling Him in our day to day life, then kindness, unconditional love, and the like will naturally flow from our very own self to another and on and on.
