Israel is working on peace with the Palestinians. If trust can be established, they'll accept a Palestinian state. I support Israel's right to exist and will support Palestinian statehood if I can be assured that it's not part of an attempt to encircle and contain Israel. The State of Palestine likely would consist of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

Just saying. At least I'm a little nicer on this issue than a lot of you are.

The UN Partition Plan for Palestine consisted of one Arab state and one Jewish state. What happened to that? Well, multiple Arab countries started a war the very day after Israel declared statehood. They sent troops out to destroy Israel. The Israelis had every right to defend themselves. They absorbed land out of self defense. I don't blame them. And don't call them criminals. They didn't go on an ethnic clensing rampage.
