  • and it is not fused!

  • @ongchorcool It's safer than the ordinary plug key, which CAN be left in the socket without a plug. The EZ plug is intended to be tied to the plug with a rubber band. When you unplug, it comes out with the plug, not left on the socket. The main purpose is to prevent you from forgetting to bring it along when you unplug, but a more important side effect is that it does not leave a safety hazard.

It is intended to be used with the Europlug, which doesn't conform to BS1363 anyway, and isn't fused.

  • and number two it is not conform to BS1363 standard

  • thats unsafe,a kid can bypass the shutter and poke things in to the live and neutral pin and potentially kill him,use a euro to UK converter plug instead
