Vídeo para crítica correspondente no blog lerbd. This is a short video for a review at the Portuguese language comics and illustration blog lerbd on a Portuguese edition of E. A. Poe's "The Raven" poem with the magnificent illustrarions by 19th century giant Gustave Doré (this edition, by Manuel Caldas, has a very high standard for graphic qualirty) Despite Poe's strenght remains in his strict adherence to the "fantastic" (as understood by Todorov), Doré chooses to represent all the memories, fears and illusions as if standing side by side with the proganist, making these images at one time ominous and soothing. The sounds are taken form various sources found on the internet. Copyrights their respective owners; academic and review purpose/fair use only. Lack of editing skills unavoidable, sorry.
