I don't know why but I've always heard Ignatius in my head as a particularly pompous Englishman - I know that is silly as he is clearly from New Orleans. I just find it hard to watch him talking with an American Accent after hearing him as an Englishman every time I've read the book (currently about 50 times - I love it!)
