This footage shot by my friend Vince Abbott shows the Tiger I running at Tankfest 2006 in Bovington, England. The rebuilt engine is running smoothly and shows how the Tiger would have sounded during the war. Thanks Vince for permission to use your footage. • A beautiful beast...

    Sounds good...

    great...

  • Yes this one was from Tunisia. It was knocked out by Britsh forces - go to Bovington Tank Museum website for a detailed history of this vehicle. There are some famous pictures of it being inspected by Winston Churchill soon after it was first captured. I have been lucky enough to see this vehicle running & before it was restored. It is truly awesome. As Jobu88 says, the Bovington collection is fantastic, with many unique vehicles from World War One as well.

  • @stalkervision

It does have a high weight to power ratio. But it's a beautiful tank and i hope it gets fixed soon.

  • @bestamerica well, AFAIK only Maus ever produced were captured by Soviets:) You can just try to make copy of the "Mouse"...or invade and conquer Russia;)

  • Shchetchynianin,

    '

bring a real big MAUS tank here in america,,,

no need to go ussr russia

  • @bestamerica go to Kubinka, Russia:)

  • @moogug for sure there was no movie filmed in Poland in which there were original Tigers taking part, especially before 1989. Commies wouldn't have allowed facists/imperialists to do so.

  • Has anyone seen the film 'Night of the Generals' with Peter O'Toole and Omar Shariff. They had at least three Tigers in that. I think the part where they are in was filmed in Poland. Anyone know anything about that?

  • '

i wish want to see the real big MAUS tank

  • Super cool!!

  • One day, when we have completely automated, hich speed fabrication factorys, that are able to create a vehicle out of nothing more than scrap metal and blue prints, I will drive a tiger. With pride.

  • i want one!!
