After assembly, file-ing and green-stuff...
I prime my models with G.W.s white primer...
Then outline everything with black paint...
The white allows for brighter colors..
Gorbad doesn't have much skin exposed ...
so I've added dilluted Scorpion Green...
I'll wash with Snot Green next...
There's a million Orc painting Tutorials on Youtube:(
But this is an important step in my process...
It aint gotta be perfect at this stage!

  • You use white prine while most use black. What are the advantages/disadvantages of using white/black?

  • It's sometimes difficult to cover black...depending on what colors I use especially Red and Yellow and Orange....

I keep hearing the foundation paints cover better.....but I haven't bought any yet:)

  • Soooooo super awesome!

  • very interesting, never saw that before, I must give it a try.

  • I've never outlined like this before, and its the first time I've seen it. Goodluck on the painting.

  • Interesting to see the progress on this. I've never done the outlining thing. I'll have to try that out sometime. Looks good, can't wait to see how it all comes together :).
