@pieroLT - I used a Solid State hard drive for the operating system and Hauptwerk and made a complete image of it so that it can be cloned back to a new hard drive easily should the solid state drive ever fail. Recordings can be saved on external drives so a large solid state hard drive is not necessary, mine is 60Gig OCZ.

Well, I suppose just like a physical organ there are maintenance issues to consider.
Although a "re-install" of a physical organ would take months and thousands of dollars to complete.

Nice sound, but I do not trust much of the computer the hd they get older, bad sectors, etc, etc: but I am interested in this excellent software.

The Hauptwerk is not so bad.
I personally prefer a "Grande Orgue"
