Christian was a heel at this moment, Tomko came in TNA as his friend and bodyguard (also very mean) and A.J. was like "I am 30, 7 years in TNA, but management still think it's funny to use me as forever-rookie", so, he found another mentor in Christian (this what happen over and over again, when after 10 years in wrestling, your mike-skills equal zero).
