Hi everybody (again). This time I show you some of the effects you can use to open, close, minimize and maximize windows.
Also, instead of using a cube to change through desktops, I use a cylinder which has the GLMatrix screensaver as its wallpaper.
Imagine the possibilities! That's why I'm sure the next Compiz Fusion release will include the 'exclusive' Se7en window gestures, like aero-shake, in which you shake your active window and the other ones maximize or minimize. Or move a window to the top of your desktop and it will maximize. Move it to the left edge and it will maximize covering only half the desktop (leaving you the other half to do the same to some other window). What do you think? Will Compiz Fusion achieve this? Will it come bundled in the new Ubuntu 9.04?

Mario.

  • are you playing dream scene?

  • I'm using 'xwinwrap'. It's a software that accomplishes the same thing that Vista's DreamScene does: to have an animated wallpaper in your background.

    Once installed type:

xwinwrap -ni -argb -fs -s -st -sp -nf -b -- /usr/lib/xscreensaver/glmatrix -window-id WID

Replace 'glmatrix' for your favorite wallpaper or video.

  • Esta bueno..pero ese tema..no me convence...XD

  • Je, je... También sos fana de PF?
