  • hmm, i didnt know that, in that case im sure i'd agree with you.

  • I'm all for new sounds in Bluegrass, but I think their "ambition" is leading them someplace else.

Seen them lately? I've seen the Lovells 4 times in the past 3 years - most recently in January.

I respect them for wanting to be the REM of Bluegrass, but,.....those perfect 3 part harmonies are now MIA. Replaced by "bluesy" dual lead vocals and bad covers of Rock songs. They are also touring w/ non Bluegrass groups now. I'm just disappointed. No big deal:-(

  • yeah, sierra is better, especcially vocally. but i like the lovells and im the kind who'll listen to bluegrass from grandpa jones and the inventor himself on up to lovin cherryolmes and the new stuff.

  • I thought Sierra was a notch better, but then again I'm SO over the Lovell Sisters and their whole Indie/Pop/ Bluegrass thing. Or whatever they're calling it.

  • great break by the lovell mando girl!

  • Damn good.
