The rain and thunderstorm was so bad in especially New Jersey that many places got flooded. I was taking a walk around Northern Highlands Regional High School a year after I graduated and once I leave, this is what I see. Seriously, I had enough of this unpredictable unpleasant summer weather and I am starting to miss living in sunny California.

@murjax yeah it depends on where in California, the weather varies place by place. And since there's earthquakes there too (I've surprisingly only experienced one while living there...1994 Northridge Earthquake) Californians are more prepared for the quakes...not to mention having a practice earthquake in 1st grade. Not to mention wildfires (which is why I would prefer the coast to inland). But California, especially southern California, has a lot more sunshine and I like sunshine.

@NHRHS2010 To avoid this? No. You get mudslides there. As bad as this is, California gets worse.

@murjax I do too. I feel lucky that I don't live on that street. Plus, I prefer to live on small quiet residential street than a busy road like this one. Maybe go back to coastal California?

I feel sorry for the people who live on that street.
