Qatargas Pride - Qatargas is set to become the worlds premier LNG producer by 2015

Qatar has already established itself as the No.1 exporter of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) in 2007 with exports reaching 31 million tons that year. Qatar is also well on its way to achieve its target to reach 77 million tons per year of LNG exports by 2011 as new trains are brought into production. LNG is produced by the two major Qatar Petroleum (QP) Joint Venture industries; Qatargas and RasGas who are based in the Ras Laffan Industrial City situated in the north east coast of Qatar.
