Great seeing Cav looking back mockingly at everybody else on his way to the line in Bordeaux. And as for the Champs Elysees sprint, that's just ridiculous. Both followed the expulsion of Renshaw from the Tour. And yet there are still plenty of idiots out there who try to convince themselves that Cavendish is useless without a full lead out. Nobody can deny that his lead out train at HTC was an absolute machine, but there is plenty of evidence that Cav is a class act with or without a lead out.

I know you were being sarcastic. Cav is currently the greatest sprinter in the world but as long as he fails to finish or finish almost last in the three Grand Tours he is miles away from the top prizes.
