as a T user i normally dont think about ZvZ , but at a start of a season I usually play Zerg versus other Zergs just for the fun, and I allways win with a 9 pool because most of D-C Zergs dont have any kind of ling micro abilities. So 12 hatch wouldnt even cross my mind :)

ZvZ is a luck-based Matchup. Don't blame Jaedong for this loss.
There is a reason why Proleague teams always send out a Zerg to snipe out another Zerg, no matter how good he is. Because they know that even sending the ovie in the wrong direction in the beginning of the game can cost you the game. A D+ iccup Z player can beat Jaedong with the lucky build order and decent micro/macro if Jaedong went 12 hatch and the D+ went 4 pool
