i also enjoyed heidi grant murphy as susanna in "le nozze di figaro" -- she and peter mattei delivered a fun "crudel perche finora" as a tango! thank you for posting clips of her other performances.
Pure. Clear as a bell. Beautiful. Perfect... Someone please remind me why Renee Fleming is America's greatest soprano? :-/ B.S. Heidi Grant Murphy is the best soprano the country has given since Kathleen Battle... Bravissima! :)
This is a nice clip of Heidi doing Adina. Nice and light and the acting is good. I need to get more recordings of her singing. I'll look for them. I have the recording of Haydn's "Creation' with Robert Shaw - and the Shaw/Parker translation which I've sung myself with a choral group and which I much prefer over the usual English translation. Heidi sings Eve in the Adam and Eve duet. Dawn Upshaw sings the part of the angel Gabriel. (And Dawn has a son named Gabriel.) Thanks for the posting.
