@2010jamesmartin I am occasionally gay, in the old and original meaning of the word. Never in the new sense though... ;)

@5secondfuse Ok, then I'm lacking the reference here. I've never seen Borat.

@cuteplayer2255 Piano: An instrument with a centuries old history, using keys to trigger individual little hammers drumming harmonically tuned strings. Keyboard: An electronic instrument with piano keys, can play various sounds and may also provide automatic rhythm-and-accompany features and more. And then there are synthesizers: Electronic instruments which are used to create entirely new sounds (rather than the keyboard's presets), mostly in the shape of a keyboard.

@itekisan A sub-set of the keyboard is the so-called E-piano or electronic piano. It's basically a keyboard with only piano sounds (sometimes a handful of others, like strings and guitar), often with a full-width piano keys range (most standard keyboards often are narrower) and usually also with the typical sound modifying foot pedals of a real piano (sustain and damper). Also, most modern E-pianos have very high-quality sounds that simulate a real piano much better than preset sounds.

A Wiiii Bit Irish??
HollisterBirdForMe 3 months ago
@HollisterBirdForMe Not a bit. Either it's pure coincidence that my accent should sound kind of Irish, or I may have picked that up from some songs I listened to or a DVD I watched.

@HollisterBirdForMe In fact, I'm German and have never been to any English speaking country yet. And as for my roots: Swedish and Polish-German (East Prussia), since 5 generations settled in Germany.
