  • does kino capture a dazzle dvc100?

  • @TheWolfClanLegend: That's a good question. I haven't used Kino in about 2 years and I don't have a dazzle. So, won't be able to answer that question for you. But, I'm pretty sure that you could find that answer using Google.

    Do you have a dazzle?

  • @TheWolfClanLegend: Off the top of my head, I'm going to guess that it won't work with Kino. I say this because, I'm pretty sure that the dazzle uses USB and from what I can remember about kino it works with firewire devices. But, I would not recommend using Kino anyway. There are a lot better editors out there now (example Kdenlive). Open-Source moves fast and a lot has changed in the last 2 years as far as video editing goes. Kino was good then, but that was then.

  • When i put more files in kino everythig's ok , but when i export the video it don't give 1 video with more videos in it. It gives me more videos with 1 video in it. So it gives me the same videos what i entered ... it should gives me all the videos in a "packet" but it gives me all the videos

  • @Valyusthas220: In the Export menu make sure you uncheck the option that says something like, "Split Video"

If you don't see it, let me know.

  • after imporing

  • If this does not work for you, please let me know what files type you are converting from.

Or, if you are scared of the command line let me know. There are plenty of GUI converts out there, I just can't think of the name of any right now.

  • @metalx1000 Oh , thank you. I've seen it after i watched the video , but i couldn't delete my comment 'cause i didn't see it. It's ok now , thank you a lot :)

  • Kino wants to convert every ting to DV format.

Some times converting from Compressed files (mp4,DivX,Xvid,etc...) Things can go wrong.

Try to convert the video before importing it into Kino.

A quick way of doing this is to use ffmpeg like so:

    ffmpeg -i input.avi -target ntsc-dv output.dv

  • Do you mean that the Frame Rate is to fast?

Is this while capturing or after importing a file?
