  • Tai chi was the base of martial arts and getting to feel and know your own body and trust your movements. Without tai chi there would not be any kung fu. Atleast not as good kung fu.

  • Franklin was my tai chi teacher in LA. He is a great person, a great teacher and a great practitioner.

    I highly recommend his DVDs.

  • is short form 24 form cause if so then i guess im wasting my time...(dont mean that in a bad way) i just wanna know

  • I have watched many videos on the internet, from the absurd to the professional. the persons filmed always shared a common denominator: they tried regardless of their own understanding of the bigger picure and some honestly embraced such inperfection or ignorance. yet, self proclaimed authorities criticize. true sudents/authorities/masters educate and iinspire w/out insulting. all bantering/bickering/one-up-manship is the ego that destroys the integrity of the Way of the Martial Arts.

  • No adrenalin, get it?

  • @fairman1952. Please go read a good martial arts book (anything by Adam Hsu or Yang Jwing Ming is great). Thanks

  • Veruvir, NO, tai chi is NOT any kind of Kung Fu. Tai Chi is a "soft" martial art. It has nothing to do with the hard styles. Tai Chi stands alone. THe goal is to fight without firing off adrenaline. contact me.

Oh yeah. youtube Cheng Manching. He invented Yang short form. Bye for now
