More footage from my 1980's/early 1990's British Rail model railway. Features HSTs, Intercity DVT with Class 87, Class 60 with TEAs, departmental trains and plenty of NSE. And a brief night shot.

  • How long did it take to make??

  • Hi, this layout was started in Dec 2004. However, many of the items, especially the kits, date back 30 years. If only I had the same amount of time now as when I was on school holidays! I typically spend 2 hours each Sat & Sun, but generally, only make real progress on the layout during holiday time. regards Nick

  • wow nice !! At the beginning I thought it was real!! Lol

    How big is your layout?

  • @Tuxedo748 Hello, the layout is 7.2metres by 4.1metres. The room is 8 x 5 metres, so tere is not much room. Anyway, any space that trains are not on is wasted space!!! Thanks for your feedback and question, regards Nick

  • Nice!!! Is it based on any where in particular? As in an area of England?

  • Hi there, it is meant to be somewhere very near London allowing Intercity and NSE to be running together. And anything else that comes to mind!
