Johnny's 30" Greens Harvester #9301

Harvest up to 100 lb/hour! This manual greens harvester borrows technology from the big band saw harvesters. It uses a scalloped knife blade to cleanly slice the leaves. A cloth basket, which is sized to hold three pounds, follows to collect them. Dense plantings are required so the greens will support each other while being cut. A single operator can cut the entire width of the bed at once. Some skill, practice, and exertion are required to use it effectively. The 30" harvester is recommended for beds up to 20" wide. A sharp blade is critical! Purchase #9175 Diamond Round Hone to keep it sharp.
