I thought that opening a battery was dangerous as fuck, but apparently I was wrong.

I like it how some guy gets 2million views and i do the same thing and i get 400.
I guess we needed more explosions.

A friend of mine and I opened some battery years ago when we were in like 5th grade. Some odd jet black liquid came out.
He got it on his hand and it fucked up the skin. He still has very noticeable scarring from it.
Why the fuck did that happen? I look at these videos and there's never any of that black liquid shit in batteries.

@YTBYlover I mean mercury(II)oxide batteries. ( i abbreviated it as mercury batteries )
cathode: Mercury(II)oxide with an zinc anode
They're banned in most countries because of health concerns

@sk8shred Mercury batteries? I'v herd of lead acid batteries (car battery) but never mercury. Also mercury dosn't seem to have much/any of a PH level, so it being an electrolyte is slim to none.

@Ludde365 It's not really dangerous, as long as you don't put the chemicals in your mouth :P Altough mercury batteries are in fact dangerous

it looks like hes cutting up a cake
-
@Ludde365 It is dangerous, all the substances in it are extremely toxic .
-
this only works i think with an energizer or duracell 9v battery

at the end i was thinking "stab one, stab one!!" lol
the last battery with the 6 cells, i open'd one and theres black powdery stuff, what is that, and can i make it explode?

@IamDerpp Battery's run on acids not gun powder. There is no exploding to be found in consumer battery's.
