  • I love not sending my weekly oil dictator allowance anymore since I've got my Volt. Save a soldier, drive a Volt....

  • Fox News...what can one expect. I've gone about 20,000 miles on my Volt and get an average of 102 mpg. Funny the right doesn't seem to have a problem giving subsidies to oil companies and spending 600 Billion on defense (how many companies does THAT subsidize?) but not 3 billion on not-yet realized subsidies over 20 years toward cutting edge technology packaged in a great AMERICAN car. This is the best car I've ever driven in my almost 40 years of driving--and I'm not rich--just smart.

  • Volt is as much "made in america" as Vizio. If you want to buy a "some of it made in america" car might as well buy a Ford.

  • GE placed an order for 12,000 Chevy Volts and other hybrid vehicles.GE will offer estimates for installation Level 2 Charging Stations, though all-gas use will be allowed when there is no electric option. Any employees who opt out of the Volt program will not be compensated for their expenses. Those who do choose to drive the Volt will be reimbursed for public charging and home charging costs, in addition to gas uses. Crony capitalism from two non tax paying companies!

  • Anyone mention how GM is paying no corporate tax for the next 10 years? And the average buyer has an income of 170,000? So if I have this right, 250k in subsidy to produce per, 10k in subsidy to buy per on a car that minimally loaded costs 50k, but this firestarter is gonna save the planet, eh? When it gets 20 miles to a charge and 30 mpg afterwards? What a deal, what a bargain...

  • GM was supposed to go with an American company for their Volt batteries, but nope. At the last minute, they decided to buy their batteries from a co. in S. Korea.

  • He states that tax payers pay for the $7,500 tax credit. Another lie. The tax credit can only be obtained by the purchaser by applying on his or her tax return. It was signed by George Bush. The tax credit for the 1%'ers far outstrips the tax credit for Volt owners. Not one tax payer pays for the credit other than the purchaser. Also, if you only qualify for $5,000, that is all you get. It is not a rebate. FAUX NEWS, lies again.

  • Sooo... Let me see if I get this straight. People who don't watch fox news keep telling me not to watch fox news... The logic escapes me.

  • The auto industry in the US is a dying industry.

  • wow, people that watch fox news obviously do no research on their own. these people are telling you buyers are getting a tax rebate for buying this car, it's a tax credit people..... if you don't pay it in you aren't eligible for it, i'm getting my money back, not yours........ how funny. my new volt is on order.... do yourself a favor people, turn the channel and go drive one.

  • @STORMLORD70 Someone's a sheep and didn't bother doing their research.

Your ineptness is showing you mindless drone.
