  • One thing I always respected about Carvin was he didn't drink or do drugs.

When you met him in person, you feel connected and all he ever does is try to entertain- He never compared himself to Jimi Hendrix, other than saying that his music inspired him. It was the British Press who dubbed him so"

Unless he has changed his ways I highly doubt that he doesn't give it always 100%

Welcome to my variety entertainment television show now on the web- joelsamuelpresents

    Tell your friends.

  • zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. boring ! seen it all before. Why can't just be himself?

  • I shot this back in 1991 Carvin is one of the hardest working blues R&B musicians living- kudos to him don't you think?

Welcome to my show and btw I just shot the video!

  • This was shot in early 1990s I know Carvin has played almost every night since so he must be astronomical now- Man you can't practice your craft day in and day out and not become incredible as a musician- My hats off to Carvin he is a consumate and consistant & professional entertainer.

  • He won't be a real Hendrix if he's not left handed .

  • I met Carvin in AZ a few years ago, cool guy, and hell yeah, freakin' great entertainer! I want to see him kick it up a notch with his own compositions so he can be the total package. GREAT PLAYER!

  • seen him live a couple of years ago. yeah he can play the axe but his voice is s hite!!

  • Where is the bakcflip.. PFf boring.

  • He's a great guitarist and showman, im going off of only seeing this video but i'm gonna say it its easyer to replicate something than create somthing new. I mean i love hendrix i can play almost every song not for note to the originals but that dosent make me even close to him he worte that stuff thats why he will be the Greatest Of All Time listen to what was around pre Hendrix he created a whole catalogue of music that will last forever.

  • 'Papers in Great Britan put in print and crowned him" The next Jimi Hendrix'

They obviously never heard of Randy Hansen who's been doing his JH tribute act since 1977. Seattle-born just like Jimi, his voice & looks are uncannily Hendrix-like--unlike this fellow. No one else comes close to Randy Hansen in the looks & playing dept. except a relative newcomer named Steve Webb. He doesn't have Randy's Jimi-like looks & vocals but sure does have Jimi's guitar sound & certainly hits the notes!

  • Carvin Jones will play in 14 November at Beba do Samba, Rome, via de' Messapi, 8 at 22.30. We want you!

  • "new" Hendrix is a paradox. Hendrix existed to inspire us, not to be just copied. but, well, whatever...

  • he is a fucking stupid bluff,a ridicoulus boy
