Donning a beard a without license should be illegal. Only cool mo'fos like like this should be offered a license, and than decline it, on account of being counter- establishment.

but when referring to culture you can't argue from a purely linguistic point of view. just comparing the linguistic similarities they are the same language. - same thing with swedish, danish and norwegian for example.

From a linguistic point of view, no they're not the same language. Defining the boundaries between languages is complex and mostly a reflection of culture.

Yuppies have falsely appropriated wine, it has its roots as the people's drink. The first century itinerant rabbi Yeshu bar-Yosef has been compared to Dionysus for his love of it, and he was a steadfast thorn in the establishment's side (which is why they stuck thorns in his brow in the end).

From a lingustic point of view they are the same languages. But since language is not just about linguistics, I have to agree with you.
