  • Well of course, you should never be breathing any metal dust.

  • thermite smoke...dont breathe this!

  • Smoke that is given off from Iron thermite isn't that bad, just vaporized aluminum oxide. This smoke, however, contains lead. Very, very dangerous. The camera was on a tripod and I was far away from this.

  • Still Al smoke can cause metal fume fever. I always use a dust mask when using powdered Al and i never inhale the smoke.
