Documentary on the unique and visionary film-maker, Donald Cammell, broadcast a year after his death and unrepeated since. Interviews with all the major players in his life, including James Fox, Kenneth Anger, Anita Pallenberg, Nic Roeg et al. Includes extensive interviews with Donald Cammell himself, explaining in detail both his influences, intentions and working practices. There are also new interviews with some of the cast of "Performance", the landmark British film of the '60's 'underground' and gangster 'overground' London . A fascinating and privileged insight into the mind of an influential and groundbreaking auteur.
Thank you for posting this. I missed everything but the last ten minutes when it aired.

Great to see this again. I taped it off IFC the year they ran it but lost the tape - great interviews with Jagger and Pallenberg; always inspired by Mick's advice to Donald to 'get out there.'
