i used to haggle during negotiations like crazy. I'd wager tons of money, tell them I wouldn't use weapons I didn't have anyway (like mines), get them to not use weapons they DID use, and then set the arena to mini. Game Breaker! lol had lots of fun with this one at age 13.

Very easy game to exploit, you could always max out a mech with plasma guns, then tweak the duel settings so the enemy had to get in very close. When he did, you could unload all your plasma cannons right into his face. Typically a 1-salvo kill, even against large mechs.
