Jesse Jackson JR Named As Candidate 5

In Breaking News today, Federal Investigators in the Rod Blagojevich case have identified IL Congressman Jesse Jackson JR. as Candidate 5. The news comes just one day after US attorney Patrick Fitzgerald revealed a multitude of counts in a 74 page criminal complaint against IL Governor Rod Blagojevich. In the complaint its alleged that the cover wanted candidate #5 now identified as Jesse Jackson to raise the governor between$500K and $1M in exchange for appointment to the US senate.
Governor Blagojevich is heard on the federal wire tap making specific reference to conversations between he and a Jackson emissary in which that emissary expressed interests in finding out the specific terms of the pay to play scheme. That emissary has not been named and Jackson JR. Declined to elaborate further, but did release a statement in which he denied any knowledge of the scheme.
It is worth noting that the actual conversation between Blagojevich and the unnamed emissary was not recorded and the feds caution that it is still not yet clear whether or not the conversation took place. Also worth noting is that the Governor is heard on the wire tap inquiring about a pay to play oppourtinity involving Billionaire investor Warren Buffet.
That scheme was a plot to exploit the investors relationship with president the elect and his access to Buffets vast resources in order to secure the appointment of Obama Aide Valarie Jarrett to the US Senate.
As with Jackson JR. the president elect has denied any knowledge of the scheme but it is curious that the person who first turned in the governor was Obamas chief of staff designate Rahm Emanuel. That coupled with the apparent contradiction from Obamas campaign manager David Axelrod have led many to question what the president elect actually knew. Especially those in the right wing who have once again raised questions about Obama and his past associations.
To that point it should be mentioned that Governor Blagojevich was the only Democratic governor not to speak at this summers Democratic convention. Even as far back as the primaries Barack Obama and his advisors have tried to distance themselves from Governor Blagojevich. The governor did not make a single stump appearance for Obama nor was he asked to be a surrogate. The rift between the governor and Obama seem to be supported by comments made by Blagojevich on the Federal wiretaps.
There is no word yet on whether or not Jesse Jackson JR has been interviewed by the feds. Jackson JR has been a steadily rising star in the Democratic Party speaking at the 08 DNC convention. Jackson has worked to distinguished himself from his famous father even taking him on publicly last summer over comments that SR made against Obama.

Nevermind her silver spoon education, focus on the position and duties. She was likely over paid and certainly unduly rewarded simply because they had access to a newly elected US Senator. The Obamas are as dirty as any Chicago bred politician, and over time they will be exposed. Why don't you do a little checking to find the truth - no need to get back to me on that.
